Volunteering

Reason people come to us to volunteer
  • Some of our volunteers are retired and looking for ways to stay active.
  • Students looking for their community service hours.
  • Former guests who are looking to give back
  • Family members of former guests looking to say thank you
  • People looking to make a difference in their community
  • People looking to add a social aspect to their routines
  • Companies looking to make an impact
  • Church groups/youth groups wanting to do acts of service

Whatever your reason for wanting to volunteer, we appreciate it.  We could not do what we do in the community without your help.

​Currently we are looking for volunteers to fulfill the following roles:
  • ​Food Bank Sorter 
  • Thrift Store Sorter
  • Emergency Shelter: kitchen, laundry
  • Emergency Shelter: front desk attendant
  • Emergency Disaster Services Worker - specialized training provided
  • Special Event Volunteer
  • Janitorial
  • Maintenance
